Guide to Digital nomad visa services Spain
I am Claudia Xiberta. I was born and raised in Barcelona and started living abroad when I was 18. In the last 10 years I have lived in Zurich, Berlin, London, Fuerteventura, Costa Brava, Toulouse and Barcelona. I speak German, French, English, Spanish and Catalan and can understand Italian and Portuguese. Talk to me in your comfiest language! ;)
During all these years not have I only walked the walk in relocating myself; I have also helped many friends on the way because I’m that friend (the one who makes the plans, clears doubts, makes the calls, etc.). That’s my nature.
I help expats set up for success in Spain. I started doing this by chance with friends and friends from friends. Case after case, I realized there was a niche in helping foreigners build a life in Spain, so I decided to dedicate myself fully to it as I am naturally organized and also really enjoy working with people at a personal level. You are not a number for me.
I am a calm, caring, and friendly solution finder. I listen to your needs and will be your advocate to help you re-create home. I value integrity, trust and find pleasure in a well done job. I only choose what I think is best for each case, and have your interest and desires always in mind.
I can help with the whole immigration paperwork process, getting any kind of documents that you may need, renting or buying property in Spain, solving doubts with a consultation call, getting insurances, opening a bank account and so much more. Take a look around and don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like to know more about what I can do for your or if you were looking for something that you can’t find specified here. I am known by my clients for being versatile and willing to solve anything, from organizing a party, to managing a tourist rental or creating marketing campaigns for their businesses… so ask for whatever you may need without compromise.
I am a perfectionist and take a limited number of housing or full relocation clients each month to ensure I can be present for you. Regarding other needs and processes such as documentation and visas I don’t have an established limit, so don’t be shy and write me a nice email!
I am committed to having happy clients because a happy client means a happy me, as cheesy at it sounds. I like feeling at peace.
I look forward to meeting you and being of service!
My name is Sophie Compte and I am the person behind Groovy Relocation’s legal department. I was born in Barcelona, although my heart belongs to Gran Canaria, my family is half Spanish half French and I currently reside in Portugal.
Like Claudia, I have lived in many places, becoming a flexible and dynamic person. The “nomadic” essence has always been within me, allowing me to speak five languages fluently: Spanish, Catalan, French, Portuguese and English.
Now, not everything is a bed of roses. Living in a country that is not yours is not a piece of cake and, although being from Europe may seem easier, the truth is that each country has its own organization, bureaucracy and laws. This is the reason why I joined Claudia in her “relocation personal assistance” project.
The paperwork and administrative procedures were quite complicated for myself to move to the neighboring country, so I do not want to imagine what non-EU people who want to reside in Spain can go through, and this without counting the “treasure hunt” that finding a house or apartment can become in some areas of Spain.
Well, here begins my story. Once I finished my Law degree and the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession, I jumped into the pool starting my professional career in the Criminal and Family area, which is why I continue to travel a lot to Barcelona and now, with the Groovy Relocation project, I have realized the need that exists in having honest, organized, empathetic and professional people in the world of Immigration. As studying Law clipped the wings of my “nomadic” essence – as I like to call the desire to travel and reside in different countries – I hope to be able to help all those people who want to reside, acquire a visa or authorization for Spain, offering them my legal knowledge and supporting Claudia, the face of Groovy and the person who will accompany anyone, in all processes, as if it were her “best friend”.
PS: random fact :) We met as teenagers in our synchronized swimming team and have been friends ever since.
